How to Prepare

• Hair length: About 1/4 inch (the length of a grain of rice) for the best grip
• Exfoliate the day before; skip heavy lotions/oils on the day of your appointment
• Avoid tanning or using retinoids 48 hours prior; check medications that affect skin sensitivity
• Consider taking a mild OTC pain reliever 30-45 minutes before if you’re sensitive

Aftercare

• For 24-48 hours: Avoid hot tubs, saunas, intense workouts, and tight clothing
• Exfoliate 2-3 times a week after day 3 to help prevent ingrown hairs
• Moisturize with a gentle, fragrance-free lotion

How Often Should I Wax?

Most clients return every 3-5 weeks. With consistent visits, regrowth is usually finer and sparser, making appointments quicker and more comfortable.
